Respect and be respected.
So your junior colleague, your subordinate, made a mistake. Missed a step in a process. Filled the blanks with an error. Used incorrect naming. Was late to submit some minor documents.
Be brave. Spend not a second in a doubt. Say, loud, and clearly, where he or she failed. Punish in front of other colleagues, maybe even her or his subordinates. Demand changes. Watch him or her lowering a head, noting a task down and silently accepting a lesson.
This is how you grow the future generations. Without heart and respect. Without the love of teaching and love of growing.
Most likely this is how you also were treated. Even more, maybe someone will do this for your just in another meeting. And you are still standing. Surviving. With your heart hidden from the office space.
Break a chain reaction. Start spreading respect. Maybe this is also your way to be respected. Give a try.
