Break it, if you have to.
But make sure to collect broken pieces.

🤗 Another poem just found a way to my reader's heart.

It is almost a year since I have published my first book 📖. It opened a new world of publishing, being vulnerable while sharing my thoughts and getting to know other authors, valuing more other writings that come into my reading list.

What a journey!

I work in IT and being the only women in the room has its downsides. But then it also means that men are the majority of the readers of the book, which is full of femininity! Happy to spread different vibes around me!

And if I could add.. they were amazing supporters and cheerleaders for me! Still feeling

There are a million ways how each of us contributes to the better world around us. One of the areas I invest my time and energy in is supporting and empowering diversity and inclusion around me. When I meet new people, or when someone asks what I am doing, I am open about my activity, as this takes many hours each month to bring visible results.

Usually, after mentioning diversity and inclusion, I am not able to continue extending my thoughts, as people start sharing their negative experiences or biases in this area immediately. …

Back in Autumn

And I will be back in autumn.

Where your leaves are matured, colorful, and not so strong anymore.

When your heart remembers the heat of the summer and longs for September rain.

When your skin has been burned so many times that you have only scars for memories.

Then I will be back to water your leaves. For one more journey.

Towards the winter.

KPI… Key Performance Indicator. Such a popular shortening, used in almost every organisation, talked in every 2nd meeting at and traced by millions of brains around the world. Be it IT, be it production factory, be it delivery company. We all are measuring our output and performance against our target goals.

We as humans and we as companies, we all are heading somewhere. Unfortunately, it is hard to judge objectively using just common sense, if we are heading for the right direction. …

This week brought into my podcast list an amazing topic — deschooling our lives and our minds by Zak Slayback and Jeff Till (Please find the podcast here). I felt like many years of my thoughts about our education system just got proper names and were sorted out to get some clarity. There are so many aspects that could and should be taken care of when we decide to free ourselves up from more than 15000 hours of school impact on our mindset.

As we need to start somewhere, I decided to summarize main takeaways here, both for me and for my readers. Thou I start simple with the list, I feel that this podcast changed my life. I will continue looking for a chance to jump in the train of changes and contribute towards a more creative society. …

I am a sincere admirer of Ray Dalio. In his book Principles: Lide and work ( I could also call this whole thinking method), he invites readers to challenge our egos, our beliefs and our need to prove ourselves being right.

To be effective you must not let your need to be right be more important than your need to find out what’s true. If you are too proud of what you know or of how good you are at something you will learn less, make inferior decisions, and fall short of your potential. …

Last few days I was digging into meta thoughts on Critical thinking (a book, I could only recommend — https://www.amazon.com/Tools-Critical-Thinking-Metathoughts-Psychology/dp/1577666291 )

I was delighted among the pages of a book to find some precise explanations to situations, when I felt, that maybe folks are over-optimistic, and things most likely will not end up as planned. From one side, it might be driven by my role, as IT Test Manager in a financial institution. From another side, even thou I am an optimist, I could see the potential risks everywhere without paying additional effort. It just in my blood. …

This article is part of a series of posts, describing the journey of my book. Today I reflect on the moment when I decided to write it. I am sure each of us might have different calls and a different urge to take a pen or touch a keyboard. Still, I hope all writing souls will recognize the echoes of their path in my thoughts.

Today I invite you to look at my disputes with myself, why I want and why I should publish a book. …

A story about my first book — starting moment

This article is part of a series of posts, describing the journey of my book. Today I reflect on the moment when I decided to write it. I am sure each of us might have different calls and a different urge to take a pen or touch a keyboard. Still, I hope all writing souls will recognize the echoes of their path in my thoughts.

As far as I remember me, I was always writing short notes to my friends, reflecting on my thoughts in my diaries and later sharing short stories on various poetry websites on the internet. Noticing the world around me was always my way to grow, to understand and to find solutions. …
